Request Data Deletion

Your data belongs to you. Here's how to permanently delete everything Swaram holds about you — in two ways.

Reply STOP on WhatsApp (instant)

The fastest way. If you received a message from any Swaram-powered WhatsApp number, simply reply:

Reply STOP to any WhatsApp message from a Swaram-powered business number. Your contact record, conversation history, and all associated personal data will be permanently and irreversibly deleted within 24 hours.

You will receive a confirmation message immediately after your STOP request is processed. No further action required.

Email deletion request (within 72 hours)

If you cannot send a WhatsApp message, or if you want to request deletion of data tied to a specific interaction or tenant account, contact us directly:

Include your phone number and the name of the business you interacted with (if known). We will locate all data associated with your contact and permanently delete it.

What happens after your request

  • Contact record and conversation history deleted from active database — within 24 hours
  • Backups purged in next scheduled cycle — within 30 days
  • Consent records retained for 36 months (DPDP Act 2023 legal compliance requirement only)
  • Confirmation sent to you via WhatsApp or email after deletion is complete
